Flooring Styles

Bamboo comes in 3 styles - vertical, horizontal, and strand.

  • Horizontal bamboo gets its name from the way the bamboo is manufactured. The bamboo stock is flattened and laid horizontally so you see much more of the grain.

  • Vertical bamboo is flattened and laid vertically to reveal the side of each bamboo stalk.

  • Strand woven bamboo is made into a pressing the stalks into a block and fusion them together using heat or ice.
